WHY SHOULD I CALL YOU FOR MY INSPECTION INSTEAD OF ????????

That's a good and fair question. There's probably someone who can get to it before me and probably someone who will do it a little or a lot cheaper.

  1. I'm not trying to generate repair work or contracts to install a new system. I only do inspections, no repairs, no new installations. I have no incentive to tell you that there are problems when there are none, or to tell you everything is fine when it's not.
If it turns out that you need work I'm happy to recommend contractors to call, but I don't do it myself. This allows me to remain unbiased in my evaluations.
  2. Over the past 25 or so years I've worked in and around all facets of the septic tank industry. I've helped put together the equipment to manufacture tanks and lids. I've installed new systems. I've maintained existing systems. I've repaired systems that didn't get the maintenance they should have. I've also provided many septic tank inspections. There's not much in this industry I'm not familiar with.
  3. If you call around you will almost certainly find someone willing to do a system evaluation for much less than I. You should ask yourself why they're so much cheaper. Odds are, it's because they're counting on coming out of that inspection with a repair job. It's a sad, all too common, reality of the industry.
  4. It's rare that I would be able to run right over to a job. However, most inspections are able to be finished and a written evaluation delivered within a day or so. Costs for septic work can add up quick, easily reaching into 5 digit territory. This is  not something you should be in a hurry with. Particularly in the Jacksonville Florida area.
